Frances, your pictures and narratives are worth ten thousand words. You are reminding me of my good fortune to have lived in Munich for 10 years and actually worked in Zurich for a month back in the middle 80s. It's very comforting to see that your photos depict the same peaceful blessedness as I remember it, nearly 40 years ago. Thank you very much for posting... and continued happy journeys of joyous consciousness. 😊🌹❤️🙏😇😊😘🤗🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
I agree with you about beauty. I've been fortunate enough to always live in beautiful places. Though, I have to admit, there are times when I get too busy to let myself see. Slowing down, relishing beauty. It's a secret to having a little bit of joy every day.
I live in Switzerland and it is beautiful yet we are people just like any other country with the good and bad. Being small helps us be pretty efficient and that can be really helpful. Glad you enjoyed our country!
lovely, I know it well, but don’t be fooled, not that many miles away a mountain practically crumbled, and the ensuing catastrophe left whole villages destroyed and many people homeless… the paradise is flawed indeed and we must all wake up and protect our natural world with real measures, even if they hurt!
Lovely capture of the essence of Switzerland - the ultimate so far in civilized countries. The care of their patrimony - clean environment, pristine waters, courteous citizenry as a result - all spotlighted in this telling piece. Thanks!
What a wonderful read, Frances! Thank you for letting us join in your excursion through your words and photographs!

Thanks for sharing the pictures of your gita!
Where’s your beautiful spot?
It’s impossible to narrow this down to one place. :)
Currently, I’m in Southeastern PA, so I have been drawn to the Brandywine River. Always beautiful - four seasons of the year.

Incredible! Would love a suggested itinerary and recommendations! Will keep an eye out ❤️
My recs coming soon. We were there only a short time so not an extensive list. Want to go back.
Just the word “gita” makes me want to pack my little bag and set off…
