We’re a small producer with one product, up against huge brands, many of which are far pricier than ours! What a surprise! When we first bought Bramasole, the land was so overgrown we barely could see the trees. But we cleared and pruned, and from the beginning we have been blessed with this fresh, green, piquant oil every October. We love the olive trees. Maybe that inspires them to give us such bountiful gifts each year. Congratulations, trees!

The New York International Olive Oil Competition has ranked us at the top, with eleven awards since the competition began in 2013. Check the link to see how other brands you might know compare in the rankings. This year 1,244 brands were entered from 28 countries.

Back in 2013, we were shipping from the garage once a year, wrapping each bottle in bubble wrap. I don’t even know why Ed thought to send off a bottle to the competition. But we were overjoyed to be recognized that year with a Gold Award.
